Biography
Mohsen Arasti, 46, from Qazvin, was a mountaineer, trial motorcyclist, and a respected business owner known for expanding his dairy workshops and stores. He was killed on January 8, 2026, during national protests in Qazvin. After tear gas was fired, he set a carton on fire to help disperse the gas and people, at which point a sniper targeted and shot him in the head. His body was released to his family only after they pledged not to hold mourning ceremonies or publish obituaries.
محسن آراستی، ۴۶ ساله و اهل قزوین، کوهنورد، موتورسوار تریال و کارآفرینی خوشفکر بود که کارگاهها و فروشگاههای لبنیات خود را به طور پیوسته گسترش میداد. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات ملی در قزوین کشته شد. محسن پس از شلیک گاز اشکآور، برای کاهش اثر گاز و کمک به پراکنده شدن جمعیت، یک کارتن را آتش زد و در همان زمان با شلیک مستقیم تکتیرانداز به سر، جان باخت. پیکر او پس از گرفتن تعهد از خانواده مبنی بر عدم برگزاری مراسم عزاداری و انتشار اعلامیه تحویل داده شد.
